Studying shouldn't feel like fighting your tools

The Study Aid started from a simple frustration: switching between five different apps just to read a PDF aloud, make a flashcard from it, quiz yourself, and then ask an AI to explain the part that didn't make sense.

So we built one app that does all of it — Live Listen, flashcards, quizzes, a notebook, study groups and AI chat — and made sure it works the same way whether you're on your phone between classes or at a desktop with a full keyboard.

We also believe AI-assisted studying shouldn't require handing your notes to the cloud by default. That's why every account gets a private, on-device AI model out of the box, with cloud AI as an opt-in upgrade — not a requirement.
